The tunes here were written by Muriel Johnstone, and transcribed by several friends who passed them on to me. Most of these transcriptions have only the bare melody, without chords. They are organized into subdirectories named for the rhythm. Muriel has a web site where you can find out what she's up to. You can buy copies of her books and recordings there. She and her friends have made a lot of recordings that are popular with the Scottish dance crowd, and they're also good listening music.

If you'd rather not have them online, I can remove them (though I can't do much about anyone else that has them, such as the people who sent them to me.) Or if you like the free advertising (such as it is), let me know of any changes you'd like. If you have a particular copyright notice you'd like in each tune, send it to me. If you have links other than the above that you'd like me to include, send them. And if you have chords you'd like added to any tunes, I'd especially like to get them. Many of the tunes here were transcribed by fiddle or flute players, who as usual don't care about chords.
