Bruce Olson't ABC transcriptions

William Bruce Olson died on October 31, 2003. He left behind a good amount of scholarly work on old folk music of the British Isles. There is an archived copy of his web sitete at the California State University, Fresno's Folklore Archives.

This is just a copy of Bruce's ABC transcriptions, to help make sure that they are kept for posterity. Most of the material here is from little-known 19th-century sources. Bruce didn't want to duplicate other people's work, so he found music that nobody else knew about and put it online.

He was also well known for adding rather detailed and scholarly contributions to online musical discussions. We miss him.
