A lot of music composed or attributed to members of the Gow family
is just labelled "Gow", without a first name. Also, a lot of tunes
have wrong attribution. This is especially true for Neil Gow and
Niel Gow, who are frequently confused for some reason.
This directory contains tunes written by any of them. There are
also directories next to this one that include first names, when
known, so you might look there if you don't find a tune here. If
I learn who actually composed a tune, I'll add the name to the ABC
header's C: line and link it to the correct adjacent directory.
I may delete it from here, though I may not. I've been finding it
useful to have their tunes all linked here.
