I have typed it as it is. I have made no changes, corrections etc. Enjoy. John Bell Cairns DDRAIG GOCH (Red Dragon) Longwise 8x32 bar reel Bars 1-4 1C set, 1M advancing to fall in behind 1L who pulls right shoulder back as she turns on the 2nd P de B. Dancing in tandem 1C cast into the centre of the Set in 2nd place, facing Mens side of the dance, 2C move up on Bars 3-4. 5-8 Right Hands Across with 2C right round. 9-16 1C, dancing in tandem, dance a Reel of 3 with 2M & 3M, commencing left shoulder to 3M. Finish facing down the dance, between 2C. 17-24 1C, still in tandem, dance Reel of 3 with 2L & 3L, commencing right shoulder to 3L. Finish side by side, slightly above, but between 2C, facing down with the Man on the left of his partner. 25-28 1C cross down, dance out through the sidelines, below2C & cast round 3C into the centre of the Set to finish 1M facing 3M; 1L facing 3L. 29-32 1C & 3C set to each other & turn, 1M & 3M right hand; 1L & 3L left hand to finish 1C in 2nd place. Repeat from new positions Note - At the end of the second time through, the turns at the end are with the opposite hand thus turning 1C into bottom place. "Y Ddraig Goch" (The Red Dragon) can be seen all over Wales, particularly after closing time. It is well known for chasing its own tail up and down and round and round (rather like the dance).
