Bars 7-8: 2nd and 1st couples, giving right hands to partners, cross to own sides. Variation 2 Bars 1-2: 1st man and 2nd woman, giving RIGHT hands, change places. Bars 3-4: 1st woman and 2nd man, giving LEFT hands, change places. 5-8: 2nd and 1st couples turn partners with the RIGHT hand one and a half times to return to own sides. NOTE: I have called this progression a "BANKETTE" by using the first four letters of my street name (Bankhead Road) and by adding the "ette" of Poussette. The name should not be pronounced "Banquet", even though some people may make a meal of it!!!
