N:top space ('E') at the begining of the bar.  Which may indicate the the
N:E flat is to be sharpened i.e. E natural, in accordance with Baroque
N:usage.  Unfortunately there is also what may be a sharp in the second
N:space down ('C') before the last note of that bar and a sharp on the
N:second line down ('D') of the following bar between the two groups of
N:quavers
