Cianlyn26-05-2008, 08:44 AMCould someone please post a nice version of 'Happy Birthday' ?
I have been asked to perform at a birthday party in Staddle in two days from now, and it would be nice if I can add that song to my collection too...
I hope some of you want to help me out ... :)

How do I save these files to .abc format ?
Cut and paste the text for any ABC file you want to play and save it using NOTEBOOK. Save the files to the MUSIC folder in your LOTRO root folder (C:\Documents and Settings\<yourname>\My Documents\the lord of the rings online). If there isn't a music folder there, just create one.
NOTE: Don't get the above location mixed up with the LOTRO folder in PROGRAMME FILES (i.e.
c:\programme files\lord of the rings online folder) The two are completely different locations and the game won't be able to locate any of your music files if you save them to that location.
To make them ABC files, just save them with a .abc extension. So if you have a song called Ballad then you would save it in there as Ballad.abc. I always save them as ALL FILES types (rather than TEXT ONLY) but I am told this is not essential.

Moir IV30-06-2008, 01:32 PMJust trying out the new multipart into one file thing.
My first multipart effort.
All parts should work well with the lute.
I have also posted a solo and a normal 3 parter on the Fat Lute.
