N:Title = ??? C.W. Gluck composed a comic opera called "L'Ile de Merlin",
but the performance date is almost 40 years after the Neals' book was
published. The opera is however based on an earlier French work whose
dates work better for the Neals. Whether any of the characters in either
work were "working masons" is a topic I'll leave to the music historians!
