N:One of the four or five tunes in the O'Neill books that the
Chief didn't get from another Irish musician! ("Off to California"
and "Far From Home" are two others that come to mind.) This is also
called "Ike Forrester's Reel"; O'Neill first heard it (? from Ike) when
he was teaching school in Missouri (after the shipwreck and before
the Chicago PD). The 2023 version of this tune is 100% the same as the
1900 version.
