T:JOE COOLEY'S (reel)
Z:ABC/arr. BB
N:Authorship of this tune has been a source of controversy (or maybe just "animated
N:discussion") over the years. Some say that it was composed by Cooley himself, but the current
N:consensus seems to be that the actual composer was Cooley's fellow Galway box player Joe Mills,
N:who called it "Luttrell's Pass". However the tune was evidently never recorded by that name, and
N:because Cooley liked it and played it so much, his name became attached to it.
