The Old Head of Kinsale is a peninsula in south County Cork famed
for its lighthouse looking far out over the Atlantic. Also looking
out on the Atlantic - or at least a part of it - was the Kinsale Pub,
located in Mattapoissett on the "South Coast" between Cape Cod and
Providence. We had some great sessions there until it changed hands,
and with new owners came a new name and focus that didn't involve
Irish music. Too bad - it was a great venue.
