N:Based on a hymn tune by Thomas Olivers (1725-1799), published in John Wesley's "Select Hymns  with
N:Tunes  Annext"  (1765).   Modified by Martin Madan (1726-1790) and published in his "Collection of
N:Psalm and Hymn Tunes" (1769).  Adapted by an unknown arranger as a dance tune and named after  the
N:singer/dancer Anne Catley (1745-1789) for use in a play (The Golden Pippin, 1773).
